Having a degree from course of Events Management may be enough for you to start a great and succesful career within the event industry, however, to really get noticed by the the firm of your desire and be able to distinguish yourself amongst others you have to gain the relevant work experience. In order to equip yourself with this appropriate and much needed skillset it is more than convinient to find a work placement is the right decision to make.

There are many advantages to get involved in the industry even before you graduate. The obvious one is the skills that you will gain after on year experience (if you choose one year option). Last but not least, the knowledge that you have acquired will be handy in terms of finishing your final year at university.
